Laguiole en Audrac Juniper 12cm Folding Knife

Laguiole en Aubrac

Entirely hand made in Aubrac by the village of Laguiole, France. This folding knife offered by Laguiole en Aubrac is entirely made by a single craftsman from start to finish to insure pride of ownership of the final piece. The individual artist signs the piece with a unique pattern along the knife’s metal spine. This mark acts as a personal signature of the cutler who created that particular knife, and no two are alike. Authentic Laguiole knives also feature the iconic bee or ‘la mouche’ (fly) on the springhead. The first bee appeared on a Laguiole knife in 1909, and there is much speculation as to its meaning. .

This Laguiole en Aubrac knife is constructed with a juniper handle featuring a forged spring and matte stainless steel bolster.  It comes with a gift bag and a warranty certificate from the manufacturer
