Dubious Manhattan

2 oz Bourbon                          .5 oz Dubonnet Rouge
.5 oz Sweet red vermouth      1 dash Peach bitters
*3 Drunken Plumped Cherries
Add all the ingredients to the above mantioned shaker and fill with ice.
Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass
Spear 3 Drunken Plumped Cherries on a cocktail pick and drop into the drink.

*Drunken Plumped Cherries INGREDIENTS:
.5 cup Dried sweet bing cherries      .5 cup Dubonnet Rouge
.25 cup Sugar                                   .25 cup Hot water
PREPARATION: Place the cherries, Dubonnet and sugar in a small bowl. Pour in the hot water and stir well. Cover, and let stand at room temperature for at least 12 hours before using. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
